An employment visa, also known as a work visa, is a legal document that allows foreign individuals to work in the USA for a designated period or work and live in the US permanently as Lawful Permanent Residents. Employment-based visas are divided into two types: immigrant visas, such as EB1 visas,  and temporary (nonimmigrant) work visas such as H1B, and TN visas.
